Copete: "The victory came from grit and commitment"

Centre back José Copete analysed the win over Getafe CF after the final whistle in Madrid. 

The win

“It was very important to win. The team have been working very well for a long time and we, the the coaching staff, the players, and the fans all deserved the three points. Grit and commitment are two of the aspects we saw today. We knew the stadium we were coming to and that we were going to suffer here. We fought until the end and got a reward that we've deserved for a long time.”

“This victory will give us all a huge boost. We're going to keep working and giving our all for our club, and I'm convinced that this victory will lift spirits and change the dynamic of results.”
