Alessandro Burlamaqui, the Peruvian midfielder who has joined the VCF Academy this season, has already had the opportunity to play his first minutes with the first team, in friendly matches against Real Zaragoza and FC Cartagena.
In this Wednesday's encounter he participated in the second half, operating in the centre of the midfield.
"There are things that need to be improved, but we are in preseason and we are eager to be in the best shape possible at the beginning of the season," explained Burlamaqui to VCF Media after the game.
Whilst born in Lima, his career so far has seen him play in Spain at youth level with Nàstic de Tarragona, CE Santes Creus, CE Reus and RCD Espanyol. He now looks to continue his success at Valencia CF.
"I'm very happy to wear this shirt," he says. "I am feeling very good on the pitch and I am looking forward to continuing to work hard and help the team."
"We are going to continue working and doing our best to be able to get to the start of the season in the best possible way."
