Bio
Jesús Vázquez was born in Mérida (Badajoz, Spain) and follows in the tradition of homegrown left-sided players to come through the VCF Academy, where he arrived when he was only 5 years old.
The versatile player, who has been used as both a left back and winger, moved up through the ranks at Valencia CF and reached the first team while still very young.
His debut with the first team took place in December 2020, in a Copa del Rey match against Terrasa FC, when just 17 years old. His league debut came a few months later, in September 2021, in a game against Athletic Club at Mestalla.
Vázquez is an Under-19s international with the Spain national team and has previously played for the Under-16s, Under-17s and Under-18s.
