Valencia CF Women’s first team and Academy enjoy a family celebration of the 4 promotions
Historic milestone at the Club, with the A team to Liga F; the B team to 2ª RFEF; the C team to 3ª RFEF; and the D team to Autonòmica Valenta
A season, 2025-26, with 4 promotions for Valencia CF Women’s, a historic milestone at the Club, deserved a very special celebration, which took place during a joint training session between the VCF Women’s first team and its Academy.
At the Ciutat Esportiva VCF (Paterna), in an atmosphere of ‘Sentiment, Valentia i Germanor’, players and coaching staffs gathered: the first team, promoted to Liga F; the B team, to 2ª RFEF; the C team, to 3ª RFEF; and the D team, to Autonòmica Valenta. The Club will have, for the first time, representation of three teams (A, B and C) in national categories.
Of course, the Infantil, the Under-11 first-year team and the Under-11 second-year team were also present in the celebration.
Without a doubt, the training session reflected the Club’s working philosophy with the Academy: “We educate people, we train footballers”, a training and professional line that this season has been reflected in the triple promotion of academy players.
Triple promotion in the VCF Women’s Academy
The success of the VCF Women’s first team has been accompanied by a triple promotion in the VCF Women’s Academy, with the step up to a higher category of VCF Women’s B, VCF Women’s C and VCF Women’s D, completing a historic record at the Club.
This triple promotion highlights the Club’s commitment, after integrating all the VCF Women’s Academy teams into the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna facilities five years ago, the good work of the coaches and different departments, and is also an incentive to continue working.
VCF Femenino B
The first to achieve promotion was VCF Femenino B, which in early May overcame Extremadura Femenino CF in the decisive playoff after having previously been crowned champions of Group VI of Tercera RFEF.
The promotion to Segunda RFEF was especially emotional and meaningful, dedicated to Fernando Martín, the reserve team coach who passed away last December in a traffic accident in Indonesia.
With that tribute, players and coaching staff, now led by Víctor García, managed to complete, first, an unbeaten group stage and reached full momentum to secure two convincing wins in the promotion playoff to Segunda RFEF.
VCF Femenino C
The promotion of VCF Femenino B opened the door for VCF Femenino C, which finished as runners-up in the Lliga Autonòmica Valenta, competing until the final matchday for the title.
With this promotion to Tercera RFEF for VCF Femenino C, the Club will have, for the first time, representation of three teams in national categories: VCF Femenino in Liga F, VCF Femenino B in 2ª RFEF, and VCF Femenino C in 3ª RFEF.
The team coached by Alejandro Mora has also qualified for the final of the IV La Nostra Copa Valenta, where on June 6 they will face Mislata CFF B.
VCF Femenino D
The last of the promotions was achieved by VCF Femenino D, which last Sunday were crowned champions of Group II of Primera Regional Valenta on an exciting final matchday, with the team coached by Sergi Mollar beating UD Aldaia 0-2 to secure the title and promotion to Autonòmica Valenta.
