THIS IS THE 2025/26 SEGUNDA FEDERACIÓN GROUP III FIXTURE LIST FOR VCF MESTALLA
The Valencia CF reserve team will kick off the campaign against CD Alcoyano at El Collao.
VCF Mestalla head coach, Miguel Ángel Angulo, assessed the 5-0 home win over UD Benigànim as they stay unbeaten with a full set of victories at the Antonio Puchades.
“The collective work, the persistence, perseverance and digging deep for the full 90 minutes, not giving away anything to the opposition, no dropping back are my takeaways from the game and that’s how you reap your reward.
It was a game in which we had to press a lot and move the ball quickly threating balls into spaces while being well-positioned in central areas in order to probe. We dominated and we were clinical.
We’re managing to showcase our own identity of play, the players are being able to showcase our own identity makes us really versatile to solve the problems the opposition might cause during the game.
We kept a high tempo when on the ball and set a high tempo through the game to force the opposition to be late and less strong as the fatigue kicked in and the game plan worked out like we had anticipated and the players have interpreted it as such.
It’s really important for us to have further players back from injury and available. The first thing is that they build up their match fitness getting minutes under their belts getting back the feeling”.
