Almeida: "We have to come back stronger next season"
The Valencia CF player reflects on the final game of 2024/25
Valencia CF midfielder André Almeida analysed the draw with Real Betis on the final matchday of the LaLiga season.
The game
This is a tough ground to visit. They are through to the Conference League final because they're a good side. I think we had a good game. We wanted to bring the ball out from the back, so we lost a few balls; that's normal, this is football, and they have players who have the quality to take advantage of that. I think we should be proud, because we came back from behind and got the draw.
The season
It's been a very difficult year. It's always difficult to play with a lot of pressure. Now we need to enjoy ourselves. We were able to enjoy these last two games, we deserved that, and now it's time to reinforce the team, give our heads a rest and come back stronger.
