Cristhian Mosquera, finalist for 2024 Golden Boy award
Valencia CF defender among the 25 players shortlisted for the award that names the best U21 player in Europe
Valencia CF defender Cristhian Mosquera is among the 25 finalists for the Golden Boy 2024 award, which the Italian newspaper Tuttosport organized. The winner will be announced on 16 December.
The Valencia CF centre-back appears on the list alongside Samu Omorodion (Porto), Gloukh (Salzburg), Doué (PSG), Mathys Tel (Bayern), Arda Güler (Real Madrid CF), Wharton (Crystal Palace), Yildiz (Juventus), Bynoe-Gittens (Borussia Dortmund), Leny Yoro (Manchester United), Hato (Ajax), Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United), Pavlovic (Bayern), Rico Lewis (Manchester City), Sávio (Manchester City), Pau Cubarsí (FC Barcelona), Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United), Warren Zaire-Emery (PSG), Joāo Neves (PSG), Lamine Yamal (FC Barcelona), Wilson Odobert (Tottenham), Andreas Schjelderup (Benfica), Endrick (Real Madrid CF), Ben Seghir (Monaco) and Mbangula (Juventus).
Cristhian Mosquera already received on October 9th the recognition of sporting merit at the Palau de la Generalitat Valenciana for his gold medal at the last Olympic Games in Paris. The centre-back, who developed at the VCF Academy, he is also still in the running to win the Fútbol Draft 2024 Award, which rewards the best Spanish academy player.
During this season, the Valencia CF defender continues to be one of the mainstays. He has now gone 14 months without missing a LALIGA EA SPORTS fixture, 11 of which have seen him make full starts.
