Dani Gómez: “I'm really looking forward to playing at Mestalla"
Dani Gómez talks to VCF Media
New Valencia CF loan signing Dani Gómez talked to VCF Media on Friday, speaking about what he feels he can contribute this season.
First impressions
I'm very happy. I was really looking forward to being here, to meeting my teammates, seeing the Ciudad Deportiva, meeting up with the coach... I want to get to work with them as soon as possible and help the group achieve its objectives.
His teunion with Rubén Baraja
I spoke to him when I arrived, just now. The important thing for me when I was starting out in the Segunda División is that I performed well at Tenerife. It's through luck that football has brought us together again to, we hope, bring the fans a lot of joy.
How he sees Valencia CF
What I have seen is that there is a very young group, with a lot of energy and a lot of unity. You can see that from the outside. I come to bring precisely that: More youth and energy. There is a very good group with which to achieve the objectives.
What he can bring to the attack
I like to move into space, drop back, run, get into the area and score goals. I hope to perform at my best, help the team to win games and make the fans happy.
His first day with his new teammates
I am looking forward to it. I am joining up with the team as soon as possible and what better way than to play a game in a few days to get the feeling of competing? I have not been in action for a few games and I am very happy to have the chance now.
Looking forward to being at Mestalla
I am looking forward to stepping out onto the pitch at Mestalla and to meeting my new teammates. The best way for them to be happy with me is for us to talk on the pitch. I am very happy and looking forward to helping and showing my worth.
