Some 442 players have trained at the VCF Academy since its inauguration, and to mark the 30-year anniversary of the Ciudad Deportiva, VCF Media have produced a special documentary in which players past and present reflect on its impact.
The first of ten 10-minute episodes covers the roots of the Ciudad Deportiva, with ambassadors Ricardo Arias and Miguel Tendillo.
Also involved in the first episode are Yunus Musah and Hugo Guillamón, two recent additions to the first team who came up through the academy.
