The midfielder talks to VCF Media
The ‘ADN Mestalla Solidari’ campaign recognised the work of Payasospital during this past weekend’s game between Valencia CF and Atletico Madrid.
Sergio Claramunt, artistic director and founder of Payasospital, and Maite Espí, responsible for Marketing at the NGO, were welcomed to Mestalla by the president of Valencia CF, Anil Murthy, director of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, club ambassador Ricardo Arias and the vice president of Atlético de Madrid, Antonio Alonso.
Sergio Claramunt said of the chance to show the work done by Payasospital: "We are very grateful because it is one more way of making our association better known. The visibility that Valencia CF give us is very important for us to obtain financial resources and fulfill our mission."
Payasospital is a non-profit association that, since 1999, has helped hospitalised children in the Valencia region with regular performances by professional clowns, adapted to each child and coordinated with healthcare personnel.
The ‘ADN Mestalla Solidari’ campaign has previously given exposure to Cruz Roja Juventud, Protección Civil, Fivan, Hogares Compartidos, Lamna and Incliva this season.
