Corberán: “The demands will be at the highest level”
The Valencia CF coach previews the game against RCD Espanyol
Present at José Bordalás' presentation at Valencia CF was club president, Anil Murthy, who gave an introduction to the new coach and welcomed him to Mestalla.
"Valencianistas,
Today is a very important day for everyone. Today we take the first step towards a better future.
A few days ago, I said that Valencia CF needed a coach who is a leader, with a strong character. Someone capable of instilling competitive values and of pushing the team towards performing at its best.
Today I am very happy to introduce that person: José Bordalás.
The club are going to give him all the support he needs. The economic realities that we face are similar to those of this past season, but we will work closely with José to build a team capable of competing well -and of which the fans can be proud. We have talked about this and we are going to work in a consensual and trusting way.
José, our fans are delighted to have you here. Welcome to your home.
Welcome to Mestalla and to Valencia CF, José!
AMUNT!"
