The Valencia CF legend and Club ambassador reacts to the LALIGA EA SPORTS 2025/26 fixture list on L’Informatiu on VCF Media Radio.
Mestalla is the place to be in Valencia, with the stadium providing one of the best atmospheres in world football and results to match. In the first half of the LaLiga season, average attendance was 40,529 fans per game, an increase on last year's figure. Close to 527,000 visits have been made to the ground for official matches, across the league and Champions League competitions.
The squad and coach Albert Celades have been emphatic about the influence and importance of the home fans in their successes so far this term, with the energy they provide and the unity across all sections of the club. Valencia CF are one of only three LaLiga sides to remain unbeaten at home in 2019/20.
In terms of overall attendance, the percentage of season ticket holders turning up for games has also experienced an increase from 2018/19. An average of some 87% use their tickets to watch their team in action. With the club participating in three competitions and with high hopes for all of them, expect the spectacular attendance figures to continue in 2020.
