Biography: Ilaix Moriba
Ilaix Moriba (Conakry, Guinea Conakry- 19th of January of 2003) Valencia CF’s second signing in this winter transfer window for the second half of the 2021-2022 season.
The Guinean midfielder joins to shore up the midfield as well as increasing the number of squad members available for José Bordalás.
He is a young player, but with experience in LaLiga, who made his Champions League debut and has played the Africa Cup of Nations on international duty representing his country.
He is looking forward to showcasing his talent at Mestalla and continue growing in a Valencia CF shirt.

Ilaix Moriba is a box to box midfielder with the ability to cover every blade of grass. He is strong, technically sound and has a good stride in him.
He is very smart about his decision making with good reading of the game, adept at running into spaces, surprising in attack and making strong challenges as well as being strong in the air.
LaLiga experience
At 19 years of age, he boasts significant footballing experience with over 500 LaLiga appearances with FC Barcelona.
Ilaix Moriba also made his Champions League debut as well as becoming Copa del Rey Champion in 2021, besides having Bundesliga experience under his belt at RB Leipzig.

Ilaix Moriba has been identified as one of the most talented players of his generation making rapid progress.
He shone at LaLiga Promises and was shortlisted amongst 60 of the best players born in 2003 by the British newspaper The Guardian.
He made his Champions League debut shortly after turning 18 years of age. He was named the best young player of the African Cup of Nations group stage.
