Carlos Soler makes history on debut with Spain
Carlos Soler made history on his debut for the Spain national team, scoring in the first half of the 2022 World Cup Qualifier against Sweden on Thursday night.
The No.10 joins the list of Valencia CF players who have scored on their first full appearance for 'La Roja.'

According to statistics specialist MisterChip, Soler is the sixth player to achieve such a feat, after Mundo (1941), Vicente Guillot (1962), Óscar Rubén Valdez (1972), Fernando Gómez Colomer (1989) and Hugo Guillamón (2021).

In addition, he is the second fastest to do so. Soler's goal came at five minutes, whilst teammate Hugo Guillamón needed just 158 seconds to find the net.
Vicente Guillot scored after seven minutes. Óscar Rubén Valdez eight minutes, and Fernando Gómez Colomer and Mundo 63 and 64 minutes, respectively.
