Celades: "We didn't have a good game. Villarreal were the better side"
Albert Celades, Valencia CF's coach, spoke about the regional derby defeat to Villarreal in his post-match press conference.
The result.
"We didn't have a good game. Villarreal were the better side. We've suffered two consecutive defeats away from home, and it's true that the feeling we have about things isn't the best."
No shots on goal in two games
"It isn't a good statistic. We did little to beat a Villarreal side who, after the break in the season, have been doing very well. We didn't do enough to win at a ground like this. Both in Eibar and here we didn't generate many chances in attack, and it's difficult to earn points like that."
His future
"I don't fear anything, and of course I see myself as capable of continuing."
The attitude of the players
"I don't consider that we had a lack of attitude. I think that the opposition were better than us. We came here off the back of a big effort and we had a disadvantage -we hadn't rested much. It was very hot, we struggled to generate play, we kept the ball for little time and they were very effective. Now we just have to rest up, because in three days we have another game that will be very demanding."
"I haven't seen any problem with their attitude. I spend time with them every day, in training and in games, and I still have a lot of faith in the players, because they've shown me why I should over the course of the year."
