He arrived at Valencia CF at a delicate moment, in the summer of 1986 after dropping to Second Division. The values he put on the pitch enchanted Mestalla during the five seasons in the club as a player, where he developed other functions as a coach and in the Sports Department, in addition to being Head of the VCF Academy during two years.
