🎙️ Cheryshev: "We want to move on in this competition that has given us a lot in recent years. We want to keep going"

Valencia CF player Denis Cheryshev looks ahead of the Copa del Rey game vs. Cartagena that will be played on Wednesday at 4:00pm. 

"For us, the Copa del Rey is a special competition, as you all know. We've got this far after two rounds which haven't been easy, playing against lower division opposition. This Wednesday we play a side from a higher level, and I'm sure that they are going to make things very difficult for us."

"They are opposition who we know well, but at the end of the day preseason friendlies are games for preparation. This is a high level competition. I'm sure that they are going to give us a hard game. They have a great stadium and a great squad. They are doing well this year, and I'm sure that they are going to make things difficult for us at home."

"However, we are Valencia CF and we have to be aware that we can do it -and believe in it. What we want is to move on in this competition that has given us a lot in recent years. We want to keep going."
