Danish footballers choose Wass amongst best of 2020

Daniel Wass has been included in the Best XI of 2020 compiled by the Danish footballers' association (Spillerforeningen), which highlights the top talents from the Scandinavian country each year.

The Valencia CF player was chosen for his consistency, quality and versatility, which he has shown both at club and international level.

The full XI consists of:

Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City FC), Daniel Wass (Valencia CF), Simon Kjær (AC Milan), Jannik Vestergaard (Southampton FC), Joakim Mæhle (Atalanta BC), Christian Eriksen (FC Internazionale), Thomas Delaney (Borussia Dortmund), Pierre-Emile Højbjerg (Tottenham Hotspur), Kasper Dolberg (OGC Niza), Yussuf Poulsen (RB Leipzig) and Martin Braithwaite (FC Barcelona).
