Duro: "We'll try to get the three points against Athletic Club"
Continuing his scoring form with a goal against Levante UD, Hugo Duro talked to VCF Media about his latest strike and the 1-1 draw in the derby.
Gayà's sending off
“What happened to José in the first half was incomprehensible. We've been saying it all season, that VAR is only for clear incidents, but nobody believes in VAR anymore. They use it at will. Apparently José punched him. It's crazy. The footage we have seen is recorded filmed from above, so I don't know what he might have seen."

Extra effort
“The effort had to be greater after we went down to ten men. We spent most of the second half running behind the ball, but we were comfortable. In the second half they hardly had chances, and I don't remember any intervention by Mamardashvili. It was a shame that we conceded the goal from a set piece."

An insufficient draw
“It is clear that with the difference in points that we had before the game, only a victory would do. We'll try to get the three points against Athletic Club."
A run of goals
“It is important on an individual level to contribute, and also in terms of confidence and to see if I can continue increasing my numbers”
