Españeta honoured at XX edition of Premios al Mérito Deportivo de la Ciudad de Valencia
The XX edition of the Premios al Mérito Deportivo de la Ciudad de Valencia (City of Valencia Sporting Merit Awards), which recognises the work of athletes, clubs, teams and volunteers, has honoured the late Bernardo España Edo ‘Españeta.’
The legendary Valencia CF kitman, who passed away earlier this year, was given the Premio Amorós award posthumously for his lifelong dedication and service to the club.

Accepting the well-deserved tribute award was Españeta's widow, Charo, accompanied by his close friend Ricardo Arias as ambassador for Valencia CF. The club were alongside the family of one of their most beloved characters at the event, held at the Complex Esportiu i Cultural la Petxina.
