Meet some of the Valencia CF players who have competed in the U-21 European Championship with Spain
Juan Mata and César Tárrega, the most recent scorers in this prestigious international tournament
After signing his contract to join Valencia CF on loan, Alessandro Florenzi got straight to work at the Ciudad Deportiva. The Italian met up with his new teammates before undertaking his first training session with them.
The defender emerged onto the training pitch talking with coach Albert Celades, then got underway with a session that featured the players who did not play against Cultural Leonesa. The squad answered any doubts that Florenzi had, and he was able to get acquainted with their drills and dynamic.
Immediately following the hour-long session, Florenzi was greeted by Cristiano Piccini, his compatriot and fellow defender who is currently out injured. There was also time to pose with a group of young Valencianistas who had come along for a training camp at the Ciudad Deportiva.
