Gabriel Paulista: "We have to get out of this situation"
Gabriel Paulista spoke to VCF Media after Valencia CF's 1-0 defeat to Getafe CF.
A hard defeat
It's always hard to lose, and even more so in a match like this one today. I think we had a good game, especially in the first half. We had chances, but we weren't able to score. You always have to take away the positives. Defensively, we had a solid game, but we lacked the ball. We must correct the errors, above all from set pieces. The two chances and their goal all came from set pieces. We cannot accept that. We have to correct this for the next game to be able to look for the three points.
Responsibility
It's hard for me. I don't come here to mess around. I come to work seriously and to get the best out of myself. We hear things from outside, but that cannot enter our heads. I know that I can improve more and more and today I had a good game. We have to get out of this situation because this is a great club. We respect the club a lot and we are going to respect it until the end. I have to keep improving more and more to give everything for this club until my last second here.
Support from the fans
I will respect this club until the last second of my contract. This club have given me everything. I'm going to try to help my teammates, to encourage them and get us out of this. The next game, at home, I am sure that the fans will be behind us. I do not have doubts about that. They want results and we are going to work all week to find the three points, which are very important.
