Gayà enters list of Top 50 most appearances for Valencia CF
The fullback reached the milestone with his inclusion in the first XI against Deportivo Alavés
José Luis Gayà continues to break records at Valencia CF. The club captain has entered the list of the 50 players with the most official matches for the club, moving level with legend Vicent Guillot on 237 appearances at the age of just 25.
Since he made his debut for the first team on October 30th, 2012, in the Copa del Rey away game against Llagostera, Gayà has participated in 237 official matches as a Valencia CF player. Of them, 186 have been in LaLiga, 21 in the Copa del Rey, 18 in the Champions League, 11 in the Europa League and 1 in the Spanish Supercopa.
Before the game at Mendizorroza, Gayà had played 19,580 minutes of official action, with 105 wins, 58 draws, 5 goals and 17 assists.
