Gómez quick on the draw with scoring start

Maxi Gómez is a renowned quick starter in front of goal, with his early season strikes something of a tradition in LaLiga. The centre forward was one of the decisive players in Valencia CF's 4-2 Matchday 1 win over Levante UD, participating in three of the four goals scored by his side.
He scored the equaliser to take the game to 2-2, finishing off a pass from Kang In with a shot inside the far post. He then dummied a cross by Denis Cheryshev, allowing Manu Vallejo to hand VCF the lead at Mestalla.
Meanwhile, back in 2017/18 -his first season in Spain, at Celta Vigo- he scored twice on Matchday 1 and then made it 5 goals in the opening 5 games. The following year, he scored 3 from 5 in the initial fixtures for the campaign.
This Saturday he returns to Vigo, this time as a Valencia CF player looking to continue a scoring start.
