Gracia: "We managed to go through, but I can't be happy with the game"
Valencia CF coach Javi Gracia warned that, whilst his side were able to progress in the Copa del Rey against Terrassa, improvement is required for the coming rounds of the competition.
Assessing the performance
"I can't be happy with the game. Until it was over, I couldn't stop to make an evaluation as to whether I was happy or not. I think that we went through a lot of difficulties, conceding so early and not feeling good in the first half. We had the sending off as well, and then the score became 2-0. There was a series of circumstances that made today's game very difficult. I can't be happy with it, and we definitely have to do a lot better."
Rotations in the squad
"We made a lot of rotations today, and brought in a lot of even younger players. We found the first half very difficult. I'm not happy. I don't think that it's a step forward, even though we achieved our aim of progressing. We have to analyse it and be more demanding in the future. If we don't, then we won't be on the right path."
A difficult contest
"I'm aware of the difficulty we had today. We were losing until the final minutes and I'm conscious of that. We were playing with a man fewer and we were up against it for many minutes. We managed to go through, but we can't be happy with the game. We will try to do better in the future."
