Gonçalo Guedes has returned to action for Valencia CF at an important time for the club, ahead of a demanding run of fixtures that sees the team compete in both LaLiga and the Champions League.
The number 7 is determined to get back to his best with a group that have earned five victories and two draws in their last eight games, and wants to get into his best form as soon as possible.
Speaking after his return, in the game against Granada in the Copa del Rey, he told Spanish television channel Mediaset that "I felt really good coming back into the team, although the only thing that I wanted was to get through to the next round. That wasn't possible, so now we have to keep working and give our all for the team."
After a spell on the sidelines, Guedes is working tirelessly in training to get to full fitness and compete. His 20 minute cameo in the Copa del Rey was the start of what he hopes to be a prolific second half of 2019/20.
