Guillamón: "It's a shame not to take points after the effort from the team and the fans"
Hugo Guillamón highlighted the great effort made at Mestalla against FC Barcelona on LaLiga Matchday 12, and lamented the team not being able to get a result in a hard fought game.
The effort from the team
It's difficult to see all the effort by the team not being enough to take points, and even more so with the great support that the fans have given us. It was a very close match that we lost because of a small detail. It's a tough feeling not to have taken a point.
Pushing for the win
You can't accuse the team of lacking anything in terms of effort. The team had a clear idea of our plans. We made a change in the formation due to the absences and we changed our way of pressing. The team left everything out there. It is a pity not to take points after the effort from the team and the fans.
Hard work
We have to take away the positives and improve what we still have left to improve. It is clear that what we are doing is not enabling us to get the wins that we want. The path to follow is that of the effort and work we showed today.

Mestalla
The fans were incredible. They are supporting us even when we are not doing so well. They give us the strength that the team need and it's a shame not to have taken the victory for them. It is a privilege to have these fans and I'm sure that the wins will come.
Upcoming matches
We know we have to give it our all. There are two games left before the World Cup and we can't think about anything other than taking the three points. We're going to work hard to make the fans happy.
