Guillamón makes VCF debut in city of birth
Hugo Guillamón made his Valencia CF first team debut against Real Sociedad in San Sebastian, the same city in which he was born on January 31st, 2000. The VCF Academy product had moved to L'Eliana (Valencia) with his family at the age of two, but has a connection with the Basque city.

He was given his maiden runout having been included in the squad three times, and wore the number 33 shirt. Guillamón came on to replace Eliaquim Mangala at halftime, with the Frenchman having suffered discomfort in his thigh.
His previous squad appearances had come in the Champions League against Chelsea at Mestalla (eventually being left out of the final squad) and last season as an unused substitute against CD Ebro in the Copa del Rey.
