Ilaix Moriba: "I liked that the fans came along and gave their all"
The Copa del Rey clash with Cádiz featured debuts for all three of the players signed by Valencia CF in the winter transfer window, including a cameo appearance for Ilaix Moriba in the second half. The midfielder was brought on for his first experience in a VCF shirt, and impressed his coach with his showing.
Using the cup as a springboard
We're very happy. We knew the importance of this game. Now we have to give our all in every game -not just the Copa del Rey but also in LaLiga. We need to put Valencia CF back where this historic club belongs. The club has a lot of history and we shouldn't forget that.

The atmosphere at Mestalla
I'm not used to this atmosphere. I liked that the fans came along and gave their all for us. I hope that this is the case every week and in every game. They should get behind us to the fullest, because we will give everything that we have and try to make them happy.
Dedication
We go out there to give it our all. We aren't going out there just to see what happens. We want to win. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. We won today, and I hope that this continues through to the end of the season.
