Javi Guerra: “It's a dream come true”
Javi Guerra's fate was already written when he received his first Valencia CF kit. He was so young that he hardly remembers it. Nor does he remember more than a few fleeting passages of the day he first set foot in the Mestalla, accompanying the Mascot in a LaLiga match.
Mestalla is now his home and will be for many years to come following his renewal with Valencia CF until 2027. At Mestalla he aspires to reedit in the coming years nights like the one he enjoyed against Real Valladolid when scored that goal in the final minutes that gave the team the victory.
Javi Guerra's path to the Valencia CF first team has been a transit full of effort, work, sacrifice and learning at the VCF Academy to polish the talent of a player who arrived at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna in 2019 and who is now a more complete and more competitive footballer.
"I've had to keep improving to get to where I am and I think that with hard work and sacrifice this opportunity has arrived." An opportunity that he tasted briefly last season in Copa del Rey and that has come to him more continuously from the hand of Rubén Baraja.
