JOGO incorporated into VCF Innovation Hub as VCF Academy Partner
Valencia CF is proud to announce a collaboration agreement with the football tech start-up JOGO for the upcoming season. JOGO was one of the 22 companies that were invited to Valencia CF Innovation Hub on the 24th of May to present their platform to the VCF Innovation Hub board. They made quite an impression on them and are one of the few companies that experts decided to partner up with for the upcoming season.
The companies have signed a partnership that aims to use the online platform & insole sensors of JOGO in the VCF Academy and encourage their partners and fans to use the product.
JOGO is devoted to make talent development data & technology-driven, insightful, and accessible both for players and staff. They offer an innovative platform that tracks, analyzes, and improves the performance of players at home, during training sessions, and matches. The integration of computer vision, machine learning and insole sensors has led them to be a very promising start-up in talent development.
Valencia CF is looking forward to starting to test the insole sensors in their youth teams. Sean Bai, head of VCF Academy, underlined the importance of this collaboration: “I am very happy to be working together with JOGO. We firmly believe in their platform and insole sensors and are delighted to be one of the first major clubs to test their products. A collaboration like this one shows us the importance of launching the VCF Innovation Hub”.
David Dwinger, CEO & Founder of JOGO on the collaboration: “We are very excited to partner with a club with the stature of Valencia CF. It’s vital for us to get feedback from top-tier clubs in football so we can even further improve our platform and sensors to help every youth football player in the world reach their true potential.” He added: “We have had a very warm welcome by Valencia and are grateful for the all-encompassing partnership they have offered us.”
