Kang In named in Top 10 for Next Generation 2020
Kang In continues to gain plaudits and recognition for his talent on the pitch with Valencia CF, and was included in the Top 10 for the NxGn (Next Generation) awards chosen by publication Goal, ranking players born after 2001.
He placed seventh out of 50 players, voted by the editors of the 64 versions of Goal published around the world.
Brought up in the VCF Academy, Kang In picked up the Golden Ball honour for best player in the Under-20s World Cup, was named best Young Asian Player by the Asian Football Confederation, and was amongst the 10-player longlist for the Kopa Trophy. Tuttosport also included him in the longlist for ‘Golden Boy 2019.’
Still only 19 years old, Kang In has played 18 games this season, including making his UEFA Champions League debut and scoring his first official goal for the first team.
