Kondogbia: "The most important thing was that we reacted tonight"
A goal for Geoffrey Kondogbia saw Valencia CF come back a second time against Atletico Madrid on Matchday 24, and the midfielder spoke to Movistar + LaLiga and VCF MEDIA Radio after the game
"The most important thing was that we reacted after those two defeats that we suffered. We reacted tonight. We could have won, but that's football. We showed who we are as a team, and fought to the end. We had chances until the final whistle, and we go home with a good feeling because we played with intensity and faith -which I think we lacked in recent games," said Kondogbia.

"A goal is always important. It gives you the confidence to keep going. I'm happy with the goal, but more so with how the team competed. We played with intensity and with faith. We always want to win, and even more so at home, but we need to keep on working and see what we have done well to keep winning. Now we will focus on the Champions League game."

Kongogbia concluded by saying that "When we play like that, it's very difficult to beat us. In football it's important to maintain that intensity and pace. We are going to try to do that in order to achieve victories. The fans were very important as well; when they are alongside us there are twelve players on the pitch. We have to give our all for ourselves and for them."
