Longstanding Valencia CF members recognised in events at Mestalla
In the month of May, Valencia CF paid tribute to season ticket holders who have spent 50 years as members of the club. The initiative, which began during club president Layhoon Chan's first tenure in charge, returned in 2023 after a pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two events took place at Mestalla on May 18th and May 31st, and were attended by Ms. Chan, as well as ambassadors Ricardo Arias, Miguel Tendillo, Miguel Ángel Bossio and Vicente Rodríguez, who together with the president presented the insignia to the members in front of their respective families.

“I thank you for being here today with your loved ones and I want to share a moment's thought for all those who have not been able to come," said Ms. Chan.
"I am very happy to bring back this event to recognise your loyalty and unconditional love for Valencia for CF, stretching back more than fifty years. Thank you for passing down your passion for the club from generation to generation. You are the greatest heritage that Valencia CF have. I hope you enjoy this act to recognise your dedication."
The events also featured the presence of the president of the Valencia CF Footballers Association, Fernando Giner, and several famous former players such as Forment, Adorno, Guillot and Felman.
