Valencia CF will take on UD Logroñés in their midweek the Copa del Rey defence opener at Las Gaunas at 9 pm kick-off time in the last 32 of the Copa del Rey in a knockout tie in a new-look Copa del Rey format.
Valencia CF and UD Logroñés have only met twice in the Copa del Rey back in 2010. Valencia CF ran out victors at Las Gaunas by 3-0 thanks to goals from Aritz Aduriz at the double and Vicente Rodríguez.
Valencia CF registered an emphatic 4-1 at Mestalla (7-1 on aggregate) with Francisco Alarcón bagging a brace Vicente and Feghouli amongst the goals to march through to the last 16 of the Copa del Rey.
