Match Report: Home draw to Rayo Vallecano (1-1)
VCF Femenino were off to a positive start bringing menace into the opposition box. Olga rose up to meet an Asun cross which was blocked by Patricia Larqué.
A carbon copy of that chance came about on the 20-minute mark with the number nine providing the cross and the number 26 trying to get on the end of it.
Enith was forced into action by García and Millene but the goalkeeper was equal to in on both occasions.
Olga was Valencia CF's main attacking outlet as yet another chance fell to her on 26 minutes with a follow-up effort from a corner kick which fizzed just wide of the left-hand post and then Paula Guerrero had another effort from long range which went a whisker wide of the right-hand post.
Candela ripped the reward on 38 minutes with a cross-strike following a pass from Ellen Jansen.
VCF edged Rayo Vallecano at halftime by 1-0.

VCF Femenino picked up where they left off with Asun breaking into the opposition box and Jansen latching onto it to no avail. Asun made herself a nuisance for the opposition backline.
Andrea Esteban’s side kept on pushing for the second goal but they lacked cutting edge in the final third. Alas, P.Fernández made it 1-1 with little under 20 minutes plus stoppage time left to play.
Ellen Jansen came close to putting VCF Femenino in front in a one on one with Patricia Larqué who kept it out. Four minutes later, the Dutch saw her effort come back off the post.
The match finished points shared with nothing to separate the sides at full-time.
