Match Report: Kevin Gameiro fires Valencia CF into the UEL last 16 (1-0)
Valencia CF played against Celtic Football Club in the UEFA Europa League in the second leg of the last 32 at 6.55 pm (5.55 pm BST) kick-off time at Mestalla. Valencia CF collected a 0-2 advantage in the tie last Thursday at Celtic Park last Thursday.

The first half between Valencia CF and Celtic Football Club finished scoreless with nothing to separate the sides and all to play for in the second half. Valencia CF had a brighter start to the second half looking to score and make the numerical advantage pay.
Daniel Wass had the first second-half chance for Valencia CF after connecting with a great cross at the edge of the area but Scott Bain claimed it.
Kevin Gameiro broke the deadlock after a Parejo pass into Daniel Wass who headed it onto Kevin Gameiro’s stride who slotted it away from close range with 20 minutes of normal left to play making an instant impact off the bench after replacing Rubén Sobrino.
The match between Valencia CF and Celtic finished 1-0 for Valencia CF. They will be back in action in LaLiga away at CD Leganés on Sunday 24th of February at 12 pm kick-off time at Butarque on matchday 25 of LaLiga Santander.
