Match Report: VCF lose away at RCDM (4-1)

Valencia CF had a quiet start to the game in showery and blight weather conditions at Son Moix in an early kick-off. Antonio José Raíllo made it 1-0 to Real Club Deportivo Mallorca in the 5th minute of the game.
A minute later, Kevin Gameiro came close to levelling things up with a left-footed shot inside the area but Manolo Reina rushed off his line to deny the Frenchman an instant equalising goal at the other half of the pitch.
Ante Budimir made 2-0 to Real Club Deportivo Mallorca halfway the first period and then again in the 40th minute the Croatian made it 3-0 to Real Mallorca. Albert Celades brought on Ferran Torres for Denis Cheryshev.
Valencia CF trailed Real Club Deportivo Mallorca by 3-0 at half-time.
The second half started in the worst way possible as Dani Parejo was sent off for a double booking. Valencia CF were reduced to ten men five minutes into the second half. Kevin Gameiro was replaced by Kang In on the hour mark.
Daniel Rodríguez made it 4-0 to Real Deportivo Mallorca with ten minutes of regulation time plus injury time left to play and a minute later, Ferran Torres pulled one goal back following a great Daniel Wass run who rolled it into Ferran who slotted it away inside the post past Manolo Reina to grab nothing but a consolation goal at Son Moix.
