Need To Know: Valencia CF vs. CD Leganés
This Sunday's game will be a special one for coach Albert Celades. After away trips to play FC Barcelona and Chelsea, the VCF boss gets his first home match in the dugout at Mestalla. The last time that he was at the stadium as a player was on January 29th, 2006, when he played in a 2-2 draw for Real Zaragoza.

Leganés are still to pick up a point after four games in LaLiga this season, but last year they beat FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC, as well as drawing with Valencia CF, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid. Valencia CF were unable to win either of the two encounters last term, with respective 1-1 draws both home and away.

Several CD Leganés players have impressive defensive stats so far this season. Roberto Rosales is the man with the most average tackles per game (4.5), whilst Dimitrios Siovas and Unai Bustinza are averaging 2.3 interceptions per match.

It was against Leganés that Geoffrey Kondogbia scored his most recent goal. It was a header at Butarque last season, on February 24th of this year.
