Valencia CF Femenino have completed the signing of Antonia Canales until the 30th of June 2025.
The goalkeeper, born in Santiago (Chile) on 16 October 2002, joins from Real Oviedo. The goalkeeper joined the Asturian club in the winter window last season, the 2022-23, to defend the goal of Real Oviedo in Primera RFEF.
The Chilean, in addition to the half-season defending the colours of Real Oviedo, has developed her career as a goalkeeper at Club Deportivo Universidad Católica (2017.18 - 2020.21) and Colo-Colo (2021.22).
Antonia Canales is an international goalkeeper with the Chilean National Team, young and with a lot of ambition. She is very strong in the air, a good blocker and has a lot of dexterity.
Honour and effort
Antonia Canales: "I am very proud to be part of this great institution. Valencia CF is an internationally recognised club, it is an honour for me to be able to defend this crest. When my agent told me about the possibility of coming here, I didn't think twice.
I think it's a very good project, I hope to grow and contribute to the Club. I have great expectations but I want to take it step by step, with hard work and effort, as I have done throughout my career. Amunt Valencia!
