Valencia CF have reached an agreement for the renewal of Diego López until 30 June 2026, plus an optional season.
The young forward (Turón, Asturias, 13/05/02), who made his debut in August last year in the LaLiga match against Atletico Madrid, he has begun to secure his place in the first team with a prominent role and contribution that were decisive in the final stretch of last season.

After his arrival in 2021 at the VCF Academy, Diego López began to make the most of his opportunities with the first team, scoring three goals against Real Madrid, RCD Espanyol and Real Betis, and an assist in the win against RC Celta. This season he has been a starter for Valencia CF in their LaLiga opener against Sevilla FC.
