Valencia CF, new technical partner of FK Junior of Serbia
The Club, through the VCF Academy, become a methodological partner to contribute to the development of the Novi Sad-based club
VCF Mestalla will kick off their journey to safety in the second group stage on Sunday at 12pm kick-off time at the Ciudad Depotiva Dani Jarque. Óscar Fernández’side will be looking be off to a strong start in this second group stage consisting of an 8-match playoff.
“We’re raring to play, we’re motivated and above all, we’re looking forward to redeeming ourselves after a poor stage. We’re up against a b team, RCD Espanyol, a similar b team with young players.
We’re looking forward to building on a positive result. I think is going to be a good game.
When two b teams of this kind square off great football is expected. Both meetings in the first group stage have been entertaining for the neutral with plenty of tactical seasoning for both coaches.
Sunday’s game will be a very similar one. They have a very good squad and they’re also paying the youth toll, they’ve got really outstanding individuals, it’s going to be a great all-b team game between two sides who haven’t done their job in the first group stage and they want to atone to get back on the right track.
We’ve got to live the present, and focus on what you can control. What we can control but not entirely is the next game. We’re going to prepare the game so they can be up for it to get to San Adrià in the best possible conditions to compete against RCD Espanyol and come away with all three points”.
