Pablo Gozálbez's dream debut for Valencia CF

Pablo Gozálbez's patience, perseverance and resilience were rewarded on Friday in Valencia CF's victory over Sevilla FC at the Sánchez Pizjuán. The young Valencian midfielder had a dream debut with Valencia CF, his Valencia CF, the club where he has been training for the last 14 seasons at the VCF Academy where he arrived at just 7 years of age.

Gozi got involved in the winning goal, recovering an almost impossible ball for Hugo Duro to pass the ball to Javi Guerra and the Gilet born scored with a magnificent finish.

The celebration and the photo say so much about what Valencia CF means to these two young players and to be able to represent it on the pitch wearing that shirt. 

 "I still can't find the words to express what I experienced this Friday. A dream come true to debut in LaLiga with the team of your life and to do it with a victory in such a tough ground Gozálbez took to social media to thank "all the people who have been with me along the way: fans, friends, family and the coaching staff for the opportunity.  

 Throughout the last few seasons, he has led VCF Mestalla while at times he has appeared in training with the first team, but without ever getting a chance to play while he saw other teammates who were taking that step.  
  
With patience and hard work, he has been able to wait for his moment until this past Friday. Just 15 years after he first arrived at the Ciutat Esportiva de Paterna in 2008. "We will continue to work so that more nights like this do come. Amunt".
