Patrick Cutrone: “I’m very happy. Valencia CF are a historic club and it’s an honour to be here"
Patrick Cutrone’s arrival on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers was confirmed this Sunday, with the Italian passing a medical at the IMED hospital in Valencia. Following the routine fitness tests at the facility, he expressed his delight with the new challenge that lies ahead.
“I'm very happy to be here and I was very keen to come here. I'm looking forward to meeting the team, the coach and the staff -and to starting playing,” he told VCF Media.
“We all know that Valencia CF are a very big, historic club. It's a real honour to be here.”

This will be Cutrone’s first experience of LaLiga, and he hopes to hit the ground running and make an impact immediately.
“I hope to offer all of the positive things that I can, and I want to give my all to help the team, the club and the fans. I think that's the aim for everybody at the club. We went to do a good job and win as many games as possible.”
Cutrone is following in the footsteps of several fellow Italians to have represented the club including the likes of Amedeo Carboni, Simone Zaza, Marco Di Vaio and Cutrone’s new teammate, Cristiano Piccini.
“Previous Italian players here are an example for me, and I hope to do as good a job as them. I will give my all,” promised the new arrival, who had a message for Valencia CF fans.
“I’m delighted to be able to greet you. I’ve come here with a lot of desire and I hope to score many goals. Amunt Valencia!”
