The versatile Valencia CF Femenino player, Paula Guerrero, talks VCF Media though her recovery road as she runs the rule over the team from the sidelines.
“I injured myself on the 5th of December against Madrid, I landed awkwardly on the turn I landed on my hand and my fingers tucked in a bit and I sustained a fracture to the metacarpal they told me it would need resting for quite a while.
Then, they told me that by the month the bone would have remodelled but I wasn’t the case so there was a delay on the recovery process. It’s better to return fit than early and poorly.
We’re a young squad with plenty of fighting spirit, grit and desire to turn it around. Although we’d like to be more consistent”.
