The Valencia CF forward is through to the U21 EURO quarter-finals
Gabriel Paulista has officially been granted Spanish nationality, having completed the final step of the application progress. This Wednesday, the defender swore allegiance to the Spanish Constitution, having met the requirements and passed language and culture exams.
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the 30-year-old joined Valencia CF in August of 2017 from English side Arsenal. He applied for Spanish nationality earlier this year, with the intention of a call-up for the national team and the opportunity to represent them in the rescheduled Euro 2020 tournament next summer.
