Santamaria, Ugrinic and Danjuma presented as new Valencia CF players
The three footballers, who are already under the orders of Carlos Corberán, shared their excitement and ambition for this new stage at Mestalla.
Pepelu joined Valencia CF in July, and since his arrival the midfielder has become one of Rubén Baraja's regular starters.
He is the player who has given the most passes (240) for the club, and completed the most minutes (360) along with Mamardashvili and Gayà, in the 5 games played by Valencia CF in the current LaLiga campaign. Furthermore, he is the midfielder seventh with the most passes made in LaLiga. Of the 240 he has attempted, 83.75% have been successful.
Other features that characterise Pepelu's game are his defensive ability and his runs into the area. He has accumulated 24 recoveries, an average of 6 per game, and scored his first goal on Matchday 1 against UD Las Palmas.
Pepelu's talent has previously been noticed by Spain, with appearances at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level. For the latter, he played under current senior coach, Luis de la Fuente.
