Corberán: “It’s time to compete and to give our all”
The coach looks ahead to the game against Deportivo Alavés
Uros Racic returned in Valencia CF's cup game this past Thursday, following a series of games missed through physical problems. He was a dominant force in the midfield against Yeclano Deportivo, and scored one of the goals in the 1-4 win.
Nine minutes in, a shot by the Serbian from distance surprised the opposition goalkeeper. It was the team's second of the game, and Racic's first in a Valencia CF shirt. The strike came with a dedication to his twin brother, Bogdan.
The two Racic brothers have not been able to see one another due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as Bogdan has returned to Serbia and Uros has continued his quest to establish himself in the Valencia CF first team. The latter had promised that his maiden goal would be dedicated to his twin, and was true to his word.
