Račić: "Now I have more confidence and I'm very excited to be here."

Back from a loan spell in Portugal, Uros Račić feels ready to establish himself at Valencia CF this coming season. In the last campaign, at FC Famalicâo, the midfielder participated in 39 games. He started off preseason by featuring in all 90 minutes of the friendly against CD Castellón, and is confident about what lies ahead.
"We're in good shape. We're training well, and training very hard," he told VCF Media on Tuesday. "I'm very happy to be back here with my team again. I'm enjoying training very much. I think that we're preparing well for next season."
There has been much that has changed for Račić this summer, and plenty of progress has been made.
"I like the new coach and his staff. We are always talking and they help me with my position.I speak Spanish now... although I'm still learning. I can communicate with people, and I understand more or less everything. They help me with everything," he explained, adding that the best is still to come from him.
"I think that I can play much better, because we're still getting tired. I had a dip in strength in my legs in the last 20 minutes of the game. I hope that in the coming games I can improve that.
"Because I'm young, I need a lot of minutes. I think that I got that last year on loan, and now I have more confidence -and everything I need to play here."
The next campaign is a big one for him -and for many other young talents who are part of the Valencia CF project.
"There are a lot of young players, like me. We need to play in these preseason games so that we have trust in us when the season starts.
"Last year was a good season for me, because I played a lot. I think that I did well. Like I said, I'm very happy and it's a pleasure to train with this team.
"I think that I can succeed. We'll see. I have a lot of confidence in myself, and I think that I'm better than I was before."
