Racic: "We have to keep fighting like we did today"
Uros Racic featured once again for Valencia CF in the team's game against FC Barcelona, and produced another strong performance in the midfield. He was content with the draw, and felt that an even better result would not have been unfair.
"I'm happy. We got a draw against a great side. I think that we were very close to winning. We had some bad luck with the penalty that was given against José (Luis Gayà); I don't like to comment on these incidents, but I don't think that it was a penalty. I think that we did a good job," he commented to VCF Media.
"We were focused and started the game very well. That penalty was difficult to come back from. If the penalty hadn't have been given, I think that we would have been even closer to winning and keeping up the way that we were playing," said Racic.
"We have to keep fighting like we did today, and play like that against everybody. If we can do that, then we can keep going and pick up the three points."
Whilst Racic has been playing through a few niggles, at no time has he thought of withdrawing himself from availability, braving through any pain at the Camp Nou.
"I'm tired. I received a knock and I'm feeling a little bit of pain, but I had to keep going -just like I did in the game against Real Madrid," he responded.
